The immersion heater is protected by a SIALON ceramic sheath, 30-40kw silicon carbide rod, one set of thermocouple with self-protection sheath, and one seals inside the sheath, wire and quick coupling outside the sheath. This heat is then dissipated directly into the melt, reducing the power consumption compared with other types of heating.

The major function:

Preheat the empty vessel, before filling with molten metal, to avoid metal freeze;

rapidly increase temperature prior to casting, or whenever needed;

Ensure a precise static temperature of the melt prior to casting.
