Brief Introduction
Shanxi Metallurgical Institute is the only metallurgical research department in Shanxi Province, which is located in 338 Yingze Street, Taiyuan, Shanxi.
We mainly carryout technology innovationand economic developmentin metallurgy and related fields, as well as technology invention, consultingservice, preparation of project proposalsand feasibility report in non-ferrous & ferrous metal and related areas. Meanwhile ,we edit and publish the magazine of Shanxi Metallurgy.
The Pilot-base of Shanxi Metallurgical Institute, is located at Nitun Twon, Yangqu County ,Taiyuan.Which is one of the pilot projects of Shanxi Scientific and Technological Bureau, is composed of the central laboratory and the workshop which includes: the magnesium alloy and die-casting, the deformed magnesium alloy sectional materials, the magnesium alloy sheet strip, magnesium alloy surface electrostatic paint spraying and electrephoresis.
Relying on this strong technical force, advanced special techniques, advanced production and detection equipment, the scientific management and mature processes, the pilot-base has produced the magnesium alloy bars, magnesium alloys with high-quality and complete specifications.
Taking the magnesium alloy and the green metal material as the target of the development and research, the pilot-base has continuously developed new products. It is one of the projects of the production development in the national program of “the Tenth Five-year Plan” and enjoys the excellent developing trend.
