According to statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US produced 72,000 tons of primary aluminum this April, increasing by 4% compared to the previous month while reducing by 21.74% from the same month in 2020. The daily average output was 2,410 tons, a year-on-year decline of 21%.
During the reporting period, the aluminum output recycled from aluminum scrap was 263,000 tons, reducing by 3.3% month on month while increasing by 6.9% year on year.
Among them, 145,000 tons were recycled from new aluminum scrap and 119,000 tons were from old aluminum scrap.
