According to statistics, the US exported around 73,000 tons of aluminum scrap to South Korea in the third quarter of this year, hiking by 5.9% compared to the previous quarter.
In the first nine months of this year, the US’ aluminum scrap exports to South Korea amounted to approximately 214,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.42%.
In September alone, the US’ aluminum scrap exports to South Korea accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 24,000 tons, followed by Mexico with roughly 128,000 tons.
