According to the latest statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US produced around 72,000 tons of primary aluminum in September, reducing by 10% compared to the previous month.
During the reporting period, the aluminum output recycled from aluminum scrap was 271,000 tons, slightly up by 0.37% from the previous month while sliding by 7% from September 2019.
Among them, 147,000 tons were recycled from new aluminum scrap and 124,000 tons were from old aluminum scrap.
