US’ Arconic joins petition for AD case on aluminum sheet imports from 18 countries

   According to the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), Arconic, a US-based manufacturer of aluminum sheets, plates, extrusions, and architectural products, has joined other US manufacturers to file a petition for the government’s anti-dumping (AD) measure on common alloy aluminum sheet imports from 18 counties, including Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Oman, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey.

  The final determination of this case was scheduled to be announced in February 2021.
  The petitioner for this case is the Aluminum Association Common Alloy Aluminum Sheet Trade Enforcement Working Group, including Aleris Rolled Products, Constellium Rolled Products, JW Aluminum Company, Novelis Corporation, and Texarkana Aluminum.
