According to the latest statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US imported around 360,000 tons of alumina in the second quarter of this year, increasing by 1.12% compared to the previous quarter while dropping by about 1% from the same period a year ago.
Among them, Brazil was the largest source of US’ alumina imports, with a total of 197,000 tons; followed by Jamaica, with approximately 71,000 tons.
