According to the latest statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US produced around 89,000 tons of primary aluminum in June, dropping by 3% compared to the previous month and slightly decreasing from the same month a year ago.
During the reporting period, the aluminum output recycled from aluminum scrap was 249,000 tons, up by 4% from the adjusted output in May while sliding by 15% from the adjusted output in June 2019.
Among them, 132,000 tons were recycled from new aluminum scrap and 117,000 tons were from old aluminum scrap.
