Constellium N.V., a Netherlands-based rolled and extruded aluminum company, announced its new high-performance aluminum powder “Aheadd” for the usage in additive manufacturing.
According to the company, the powders are designed to fit the particular needs of its clients in sectors aerospace, motorsports, and defense.
The new aluminum powder has outstanding features. It has better thermal stability compared to conventional aluminum powders, enabling the inclusion of titanium in certain uses for weight and costs reduction.
