Ziralcast 95 is made primarily of pure fused alumina bubbles that can be cast into structural components for furnaces such as flue liner/stack, door vestibules, and furnace crowns. Other furnace furniture that may be cast includes crucible holder in glass melting research or covers for metal melting and transport systems. After initial set time of 1-4 hr, and final set time of 7-10 hr, it reaches bulk density of 1500 kg per cubic meter (93.6 pcf).
