Global aluminum oversupplied in first 8 months - WBMS

According to data of World Bureau of Metal Statistics, the global aluminum had a surplus of 552,700 tonnes in the first eight months of this year in comparison of 659,500 tonnes in the same period of last year.

Meanwhile, the report also showed that the global demand for primary aluminum was at 28.38 million tonnes from this January to August up by 1.397 million tonnes from a year earlier.
