US primary aluminum output in August surges by 18pct YoY

According to report of United States Geological Survey, the US produced 172,000 tonnes of primary aluminum in August increased by 1,000 tonnes from July and soared by 18% in comparison of 146,000 tonnes in the same period of last year.

Besides, the US’s daily output of primary aluminum in August was 5,540 tonnes remained flat from a month earlier and increased by 18% YoY.
