A company that Deery Brothers Summer Series drivers are already familiar with is a new sponsor for the IMCA Late Model tour.
Keizer Aluminum Wheels is giving $50 product certificates to a designated feature finisher and a hard luck driver at each event in the silver anniversary series.
Drivers don’t have to qualify for the feature to be eligible for the hard luck award. Certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office within a week after each event is held.
Family owned and operated since its founding in 1976, Keizer recently introduced a modular three piece wheel that is finding favor with customers in the IMCA Late Model market.
“IMCA and the Deery Series have both been around a long time,” said Wade Husiman, sales and tech manager for Keizer. “We have more and more clientele in the Deery Series. We’ve gotten quite a few calls from IMCA drivers the last 12 months.”
Many of the inquiries have been made in regard to the new modular wheel.
“It’s the only one with replaceable components and can reduce costs two to three fold,” said Husiman, also a regular 600 microsprint driver at tracks in Iowa, South Dakota and Minnesota. “The design increases the life span of the wheel. If it’s damaged in a collision, it can be fixed.”
Keizer-manufactured wheels for all high performances venues, as well as apparel, are available through the Orange City, Iowa company’s www.keizerwheels.com website and through a nationwide dealer network.
Keizer also works directly with a number of IMCA race teams. The number to call for more information is 712 737-3053.
"Partnering with Keizer in our 25th anniversary season really adds depth to the package of awards drivers take home from each Deery Series event,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “It is great to be working with them and we hope to continue to build this relationship in the future."
