Century Aluminum Climbed To A New High Following Q4 Report

Century Aluminum Co. reported fourth quarter net income of $0.64 per share after the bell Tuesday, compared to the loss of $0.28 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.22.

Century Aluminum gapped up sharply Wednesday and climbed for the bulk of the afternoon. Shares finished higher by 1.93 at $17.38 on above average volume. The stock rose past resistance and closed at a new high for the year.
