Ormet Set to be Fully Operational

MONROE COUNTY -- Some good news for a local aluminum plant.

According to Ormet CEO Mike Tanchuk, the addition of Ormet's fifth potline is now complete and the sixth and final potline work is right on schedule.

He said the fifth potline went on-line right before Christmas and the sixth is scheduled for sometime next month.

Once the final potline is up and running the primary aluminum smelter plant will be fully operational.
