Alcoa Names Jinya Chen As President of Asia-Pacific Region

Aluminum producer Alcoa Inc. on Monday named Jinya Chen president of its Asia-Pacific region.

Chen joined Alcoa from Delphi Corp., where he was director of Asia Pacific for electronics and safety. He succeeds Lloyd Jones, who will retire at the end of the year.

Alcoa has 35 operating locations throughout China and other Asia-Pacific nations.

Alcoa shares rose 5 cents to $40.58 in morning trading.
