SHL Alubin will supply 125 tons of aluminum profiles by the end of 2006, and the parties agreed that deliveries will increase by at least 20% in 2007.
SHL Alubin Ltd. of Haifa Bay will supply the US Department of Defense with NIS 3 million worth of armored aluminum profiles. The company, owned by CEO Arie Segal, recently began deliveries of aluminum profiles, which the US is using as blast and gunfire protectors.
Segal said the armored aluminum profiles are intended for windows in government buildings in the US and around the world, especially embassies and sensitive security sites.
The company is the largest producer of aluminum profiles in Israel, made at the company's casting foundry. The company has 300 employees, and NIS 250 million in sales of which 35% are exports.
