According to data released by the UK’s Environment Agency, the country’s aluminum packaging recycling rate has exceeded the 2020 target three months before the end of this year.
The total volume of recycled aluminum packaging was around 42,300 tons in the third quarter, growing by 41% compared to the same period a year ago and up by 4% from the previous quarter.
The aluminum packaging collected for recycling so far has amounted to approximately 119,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 48%.
