Commodity reported that London Metal Exchange base metal prices advanced.
London copper futures rose more than 1% after Greece struck a deal for a second bailout package to avoid a default next month fuelling appetite for riskier assets.
LME Price Highlights:
1. Aluminum alloy advanced 1.18% to USD 2095.50 per tonne
2. Aluminum gained 2.13% to USD 2175 per tonne
3. Copper gained 1.11% to USD 8324 per tonne
4. Lead advanced 1.43% to USD 2056.50 per tonne
5. Nickel advanced 1.99% to USD 19985 per tonne
6. Tin advanced 0.93% to USD 23745 per tonne
7. Zinc gained 2.87% to USD 2006 per tonne
8. Steel gained 2.15% to USD 474.50 per tonne.
