Aluminium returns in the next years could outperform even copper, says CRU, the commodities research specialists.
Paul Robinson of CRU believes that Copper consumption is threatened by 3 factors as of now-decreasing Chinese consumption, substitution by Aluminium and mine constraints.
Considering that both beverage and transportation sectors remain strong, Robinson believes that Aluminium has the strongest growth prospect followed by nickel, zinc, copper, Lead and tin.
“Aluminium is both a nation building metal and emerging middle class metal” he said.
