ARENDTSVILLE, Saturday, May 22, 2010 -- More than a quarter mile of aluminum irrigation pipe was taken this week from an orchard near Arendtsville.
A metal flatbed trailer carrying 65 lengths of pipe was taken between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Thursday from the T.C. Rice Orchard at 175 Excelsior Road in Menallen Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Gettysburg. Each pipe was 30 feet long and five inches in diameter.
