LONDON, April 20 (Reuters) - Daily average primary aluminium output rose to 66,000 tonnes in March from a revised 64,900 tonnes in February, provisional figures from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) showed on Tuesday.
Total production in March was 2.045 million tonnes, compared with a revised 1.816 million tonnes in February. Total production in March 2009 was 2.019 million tonnes.
Daily average primary aluminium output in China fell to45,000 tonnes in March from 46,500 tonnes in February.
Total primary aluminium production in China rose to 1.394million tonnes in March from 1.303 million tonnes in February.
