LME Aluminium gains 1.94% at $2,210

The 3 month LME aluminium forwards traded higher for the day and prices end at $2,210 per tonnes, up by 1.94%.

LME warehouses reported to shed considerable 8,825 tonnes from stocks of 4.557 million tonnes.

Indian state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd has got an approval for a new bauxite mining lease in eastern India, bauxite reserves of over 70 million tonnes. NALCO, India's third-largest aluminium maker produces 4.8 million tonnes of bauxite annually.
