Rise of 1,000 tons of copper stocks in LME Singapore warehouse Monday may be due to re-exports from bonded warehouses in China, says analyst in Shanghai; "given the cash prices in Shanghai and LME prices last week, there's a possibility, if a lot of imports arrived at the same time. However, I didn't hear of such cases." SHFE copper stocks up 17,449 tons vs 2 weeks ago to 85,269 tons as of Friday, which raised concerns among analysts outside of China that world's biggest copper consumer may not be able to absorb huge imports in 1Q, with possible re-exports adding to global inventory.
