MARKET TALK: LME Nickel Higher On CVRD Strike, But Trade Thin

LME three-month nickel will continue from last week's strength on news of a strike at CVRD-Inco's Sudbury nickel-mining operations, says a base-metals broker. However, "turnover is pretty poor. It's a common feature of nickel at the moment." LME-three month nickel traded last at $45,700 a metric ton, up 2% on the day.
