Jan. 22 -- Copper, aluminum, nickel and tin rose on the London Metal Exchange. Zinc and lead were unchanged.
Copper for delivery in three months advanced $20, or 0.4 percent, to $5,625 a metric ton as of 7:38 a.m. local time. Aluminum gained $6 to $2,723 a ton, while tin jumped $200 to $11,600 a ton. Nickel climbed $700 to $36,100 a ton.
