MARKET TALK: LME Copper Down A Tad On SHFE Copper

LME 3-month copper last at $6,850/ton, down $10 on London PM kerb and tracking Shanghai copper, says HK-based trader. SHFE most active copper down CNY550 at CNY 63,660/ton, but holding up well amid thin volume, especially on nearby contracts, as losses not as steep as overnight $80 drop on LME 3-month copper, notes trader; if SHFE stays at current levels, may give boost to LME at London open.
