MARKET TALK: Shanghai Copper, Aluminum Track LME Higher

Copper, aluminum on Shanghai Futures Exchange higher midday in response to gains on LME copper, aluminum Friday, says Star Futures' Jerry Wei. Benchmark January copper +CNY170 at CNY67,830/ton, aluminum +CNY300 at CNY20,150/ton; LME-3 month copper steady on London PM kerb at $7,330/ton. Wei says aluminum slightly stronger as last week's bearish news is now in the past, market eyeing strong physical demand from domestic consumers.
