LME copper, aluminum futures mostly inactive in Asian trading hours, as market awaits lead from London, suffers lack of interest from Chinese speculators, traders say. LME 3-month copper down $15 at $7,635/ton; stuck in $7,650-$7,660 range. Aluminum slightly stronger, supported by decent Japanese buying, says Hong Kong-based trader. LME most-widely held up $11 at $2,718.50/ton. Trader says aluminum experiencing choppy trade, but "if we can get through these (levels), I don't see why we can't have a run to $2,750-$2,800/ton.
