MARKET TALK: LME Copper Tries To Shrug Off Sluggish Tone

 [Dow Jones] LME three-month copper falls into the spotlight as participants wait to if the metal can shrug off its sluggish tone, says BaseMetals. "For this to happen copper will need to stay above the 100-day moving average at $7,490 a metric ton, but it would really take a move above $7,760/ton, the highs from late September, before the market looks more constructive," BaseMetals adds. This would leave $8,000/ton the next target. LME copper trades last at $7,500/ton.
