Kazakhstan aluminum and copper output up in 11 months

Interfax reported that Kazakhstan increased primary aluminum production 8.1% YoY in January to November to 1.707 million tonnes and refined copper production 3.6% to 299,190 tonnes YoY.

The State Statistics Agency said that unprocessed zinc production fell 3.3% to 291,764 tonnes. Bauxite production grew 3.6% YoY to 4.884 million tonnes, copper ore grew 4.1% to 29.192 million tonnes, copper and zinc ore production fell 5.8% to 4.386 million tonnes, lead and zinc ore fell 5.6% to 6.186 million tonnes, copper in concentrate fell 6% to 351,600 tonnes, lead in concentrate fell 13% to 32,000 tonnes and zinc in concentrate fell 6.1% to 362,200 tonnes.
