After many months of planning, development and hard work, Dubai Aluminium Company Limited (Dubal), the owner and operator of one of the world's largest single-site aluminium smelters, has launched a brand new corporate website.
Completely re-built so as to be consistent with the company's refreshed brand visual system and strengthened brand positioning, the new online platform is not only modern and exciting in look and feel, but also provides more information about the company and has been configured to grow with the business.
"Much has happened in the four years since our original website was developed and deployed - both in terms of our company and the information technology available," says Khalid Buhumaid, Vice President: Corporate Relations & International Affairs and Official Spokesperson of Dubal. "This meant that the website no longer truly represented Dubal, and a quick-fix update of the contents could not suffice. Instead, a total re-build of the site architecture was necessary, as was a modernization of the design templates."
He adds that Dubal is very excited with the end-result. "The collaborative effort between our Corporate Relations & International Affairs and IT department paid off: the new-look Dubal website reflects the spirit of excellence-based partnerships on which our business is built," he says.
