DUBAI, May 11 - The future of an aluminium plant project at Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Economic City is "uncertain" in the current economic climate, an executive of state-owned smelter Dubai Aluminium Co said on Monday. "Plans for the King Abdullah Economic City plant are uncertain because of the economic conditions," Walid al-Attar, vice president of marketing and sales at Dubal, said at an industry conference in Dubai. Last month Dubal met the Saudi Investment Authority and Saudi mining company Maaden <1211.SE> to discuss plans to build the plant at the economic city, which is being developed by Emaar Economic City <4220.SE>.
