According to statistics, South Korea had imported around 1 million tons of bauxite during the period from 2017 to 2019, and the country’s bauxite imports were expected to slide by 11.24% year on year to around 371,000 tons in 2020.
South Korea mainly imported bauxite from Australia, China, India, the Netherlands, and so forth.
As for Sweden, the country had imported roughly 17,800 tons of bauxite from 2017 to 2019, and it was expected to import around 7,800 tons of bauxite this year, which was up by 17.40% year on year.
Sweden’s main bauxite import sources were Belgium, India, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, the UK, and so on.
