South Korea seeks 10,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, April 17 (Reuters) - South Korea has issued a tender to buy 10,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingot for June 30 shipping after purchasing 10,000 tonnes on Thursday, the state-run Public Procurement Service said on its website. It is seeking 4,000 tonnes of the metal with western origin and another 4,000 tonnes of non-western origin to the port of Busan. The agency is also seeking 2,000 tonnes of non-western origin to the port of Incheon. The tenders will close at 1:30 pm (0430 GMT) on April 22.
