S.Korea buys 10,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, April 16 (Reuters) - South Korea has bought 10,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingot for shipping between May and June, the state-run Public Procurement Service said on Thursday. It bought 4,000 tonnes of the metal with western origin at a premium of $119.00 a tonne over London Metal Exchange cash prices including cost, insurance and freight to the port of Incheon. The agency agreed to pay a premium of $129.00 a tonne for another 4,000 tonnes of non-western origin to the port of Incheon and a premium of $109.00 a tonne for 2,000 tonnes of non-western origin to the port of Busan.
