Rusal shareholder Vekselberg backs Norilsk sale

A second major shareholder of top world aluminium producer RUSAL，Viktor Vekselberg, has said RUSAL should accept an offer to sell out of Arctic mining giant Norilsk Nickel，Interfax said on Tuesday.

Another tycoon with a stake in RUSAL, Mikhail Prokhorov, said earlier this month that RUSAL should accept the $12.8 billion offer for part of its 25 percent stake in Norilsk Nickel. A RUSAL board committe is considering the offer.
