RUSAL perplexed on how it is involved in Tajik Aluminum Company lawsuit

“We are astonished at the fact that TadAZ filed a lawsuit against US RUSAL,” press office of the company told REGNUM. Commenting on the report that the Tajik Aluminum Company (Talco) (before April 3, 2007, — Tajik Aluminum Smelter TadAZ — REGNUM) filed a lawsuit to a British court against UC RUSAL Company, the company’s press office particularly said: “As far as we know, several years ago, TadAZ  filed several lawsuits against Ansol, however, RUSAL was not mentioned in none of the lawsuits. All legal controversies have been settled recently between RUSAL and Ansol; however, the settlement is in no way connected with the TadAZ, and we do not understand, how it can become a ground for legal claims to the United Company from TadAZ.”
