Deripaska to Spend USD6.3 Billion on Aluminum Business Development in Siberia

KRASNOYARSK, February 20. Rusal's investments into the development of projects in the territory of Siberia from 2000 to 2010 will total about USD6.3 billion. This was announced on Friday in Krasnoyarsk by Director on Strategy and Corporate Development Pavel Ulianov. According to him, USD2.2 billion of these funds will be invested in the modernization of existing productions. Besides, the company completed the development of the feasibility study for the construction of Taishet Aluminum Plant in the Irkutsk region.
