Boksit Timana, run by Komi Aluminium, a joint venture between Russian Aluminium and Sual Group, in January-September produced 1.979 million metric tons of bauxite,33.4% more than in the corresponding period last year, the company said Thursday.
The increase in output is attributed to the recent commossioning of new open-cast mining facilities.
The company intends to increase its bauxite output by 38% on the year to 2.8 million tons.
