According to a report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global primary aluminum market had a supply surplus of 148,100 tons in March this year.
During the reporting period, the global primary aluminum production was 5.7454 million tons, and the consumption totaled 5.5973 million tons.
In terms of refined copper, the output was 2.0979 million tons in March, the consumption was 2.1724 million tons, so there was a supply shortage of 74,500 tons.
Global copper production amounted to around 1.76 million tons in March.
