Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry expands location

   Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF), Manitowoc, Wisconsin, has announced plans to break ground on a $20 million facility expansion.

  WAF will expand its Manitowoc location by 55,000 square feet. According to a report from WLUK-TV, the expansion will help to expand the company’s growth in several key markets, particularly with electric vehicles, medical equipment and consumer products. The company expects to complete the expansion by the summer of 2023.
  WAF consumes secondary aluminum ingot from processors to produce aluminum- and copper-based alloy castings for a variety of industries. According to the company’s website, WAF offers a range of services in “aluminum, bronze and brass castings.”
