According to a report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), in the first ten months of 2021, the global shortage of primary aluminum totaled 1.366 million tons, compared to a surplus of 1.271 million tons in 2020.
The demand for primary aluminum in the January-October period was 57.61 million tons, rising by 4.419 million tons from the same period in 2020.
