It was reported that PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia (BAI) completed the alumina output of 86,500 tons in its project phase one this September, achieving the output target, and the energy consumption and product quality have reached the international level.
The alumina project was planned for an annual production capacity of 2 million tons, with two phases of construction.
After the project is completed, BAI will be able to produce alumina by using Indonesia's rich bauxite and coal resources, lowering its costs for alumina production capacity expansion, thereby raising the firm’s profitability and ability to resist risks.
