According to a report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global aluminum market has a shortage of 1.021 million tons in the first half of this year. The supply surplus in 2020 was 11.93 million tons.
During the period, global aluminum consumption was 35.47 million tons, dropping by 43.8% compared to the same period a year ago.
In June, the global aluminum market consumption was around 6.09 million tons, and the aluminum output was roughly 5.77 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%.
