SAG Slovakia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Salzburger Aluminium Group, will commence production at its new site in the SIHOT industrial park near Trencin. The company invested around 1.5 million euros in the relocation and expansion of the new site.
The new plant, located near the Czech-Austrian border spread across 10,365 square metre, offers larger capacities and enough space to adapt to the increasing demand for special aluminium parts from automobile manufactures.
The central location of the new site and good connection to the main transport networks also bring environmental benefits through shortened transport routes, thus contributing to climate protection and product sustainability.
SAG Slovakia specialises in producing special constructions made of aluminium, designed and manufactured individually in accordance with customers’ needs. The range of products extends from window systems for trains to huge tanks with a capacity of over 3,000 litres. In the last few months alone, the company has bagged major orders from RMMV, the City of Vienna, John Deere, Liebherr, and Siemens Mobility.
Andrej ?ikel, plant manager, explained: "With the optimized infrastructure, we can further streamline procedures and make the production process even more efficient."
