Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF) has expanded its operation with the acquisition of Wabash Castings Inc. WAF will expand its growth in the electric vehicle and consumer goods markets. The company will continue to use the Wabash Castings brand name.
Founded in 1909, WAF, founded in 1909, provides high-quality aluminium and copper-based alloy castings to a wide variety of industries. Its Manitowoc facility has more than 400 team members. Wabash Castings, LLC, based in Wabash, Indiana, has nearly 100 team members.

Their facility forms a perfect complement to our existing breadth of production lines. This acquisition will accelerate our growth in the electric vehicle and consumer goods markets, among other exciting opportunities.”
