According to statistics, Egypt's export value of aluminum and copper reached US$748 million in 2020, growing by 5.3% compared to the previous year.
Among them, the export value to Algeria, Italy, Turkey, Morocco, Greece, Libya, Sudan, Germany, Lebanon, and Spain accounted for 70.4% of Egypt's total exports of aluminum and copper, reaching roughly US$527 million.
In 2020, Egypt's export value of aluminum increased by 7% year on year to US$575 million.
During the period, Egypt totally exported aluminum products to 65 countries and regions, of which the exports to Italy accounted for 49.6% of Egypt’s total aluminum exports, reaching roughly US$286 million.
