According to the latest statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), Iranian major aluminum producers totally produced around 286,500 tons of aluminum in the first eight months of the Iranian year (March 20-November 21, 2020), growing by 67% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 215,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6%; followed by Almahdi Aluminum Company with around 106,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 118%.
South aluminum Company (SALCO) and Iran Alumina Company were at the third and fourth position respectively, with a separate output of around 39,100 tons and 15,600 tons.
