According to the latest statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), Iranian major aluminum producers totally produced around 211,800 tons of aluminum ingot in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 22), growing by 71% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 95,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.47%; followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with around 45,400 tons, a year-on-year hike of 166%.
Almahdi Aluminum Company, South Aluminum Company (SALCO), and Iran Alumina Company were at the third, fourth, and fifth positions respectively, with a separate output of around 34,000 tons, 25,000 tons, and 11,200 tons.
